S. Stenberg! A Fighter for Chula Vista!!

Dolores had the privilege of sitting down with Steve Stenberg, a lifetime fighter for Chula Vista! Steve is Running for City of Chula Vista City Council, District 2. Steve Stenberg grew up in Chula Vista where he and his lovely wife Melinda raised their family. They have three small grandchildren who are Chula Vistans!

His father, Sherman was Chula Vista’s Assistant City Manager. His mother, Joan retired from teaching school, his wife is a school teacher. From an early age, through scouting, church, and community service, Steve learned the value of dedicating your life to serving and protecting your community.

Service/Experience: US Air Force/US Air Force Reserves, Law Enforcement; US Customs Officer; 23 years/Firefighter/Engineer and DSI Inspector; and was a bus driver for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, BC.
