What to Do about Drag Queen Story Hour

We need to do something about Drag Queen Story Hour! Here are some brief thoughts on what makes the practice of grown men dressing as caricatures of women in gaudy and provocative manners and reading stories to little kids so dangerous and what we can do about it. We need to push back, but also replace the message of gender fluidity and confusion with the positive message of being made a boy or a girl. I recommend story time with some books by Denise Shick from Help 4 Families.
