Ethereum Shanghai Missing Key Upgrade

Ethereum the first blockchain to release smart contracts has been making huge changes to its protocols. It recently changed from proof of work to proof of stake. My opinion is that proof of work is not really that bad, its mostly propaganda by government that's bought and paid for by big industrial corporations. The truth is a huge part of the proof of work protocol was run on renewable energy.
The Shanghai upgrade for Ethereum that was discussed recently with the core developers of Eth they didn't mention a timeline for proto-Danksharding. This is the transaction costs protocol for Ethereum.This will reduce the cost of transaction fees. One of Ethereums biggest issues is the cost of transaction, the sending of native assets or NFT's. With no timeline set, Ethereum could possibly be years away from a cheap usable blockchain.
