She is a Presidential Scholar in The Arts who earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance and choreography from the California Institute of the Arts and has performed in festivals spanning 14 countries on 5 continents. She is an outspoken advocate for cannabis and the LGBTQ+ community.
