Heat Straps make possibly the toughest work jacket in the world with the nearly indestructible Chief Coat. Based out of New Jersey and begun by two firefighter brothers, Heat Straps set out to make the ultimate work coat, taking every measure to source each component here in the USA. What you end up with is a bombproof. American made work jacket which is entirely made of American components. This coat reminds me of what it was like to wear a Carhartt jacket for the first time: stiff, heavy, and tough as nails. Made from a 24oz waxed twill canvas fabric and Kevlat stitching, it's not hard to see why this just might be the toughest work jacket made today.
