India and USA react to ‘assassination attempt' on Imran Khan | World News

Imran Khan was injured after being shot in the shin during his Haqeeqi March Nov 03. India strongly condemned the gun attack on former Pakistan PM Imran Khan. Delhi is keeping a close eye on the ongoing developments in Pakistan. The US also condemned the "assassination attempt" on Imran Khan. Taking to Twitter, Antony Blinken condemned the incident and said "Violence has no place in politics". Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif also denounced the attack on Imran Khan. PM Sharif also assured that the Centre will extend necessary support to Punjab govt in Pakistan. Imran Khan blamed PM Sharif, Interior Minister Sanaullah and top ISI General for apparent attempt on his life. Pakistani TV showed images of the attacker being tackled immediately after he fired shots. However, the suspect was caught by police in Pakistan for opening fire on Imran Khan
