About the Coach: Andy Chong has been representing Malaysian badminton since he was 16 years old. In 1983, he was named Malaysian Sportsman of the Year. For over 20 years, Andy won several badminton championships in Asia and throughout the world. He has previously been ranked #1 in the USA in both singles (1991-93) and mixed doubles (1991-2002). Andy's coaching accomplishments are equally impressive. He has been the Club Professional in numerous top clubs throughout the world and has coached the USA National teams for several years. Andy is a USA Badminton High Performance Coach, Consultant and Technical Advisor. He is currently coaching at the Boston Badminton Club and the Maugus Club in Wellesley, MA.
