Complete Church Service, Sunday, November 6, 2022. As we continue on in Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, Jesus instructs us regarding judging other people. Christians are often accused of self-righteously passing judgment upon the actions of other people. However, if the Christian is truly following the teaching of Jesus, such condemnation is not possible. In this passage Jesus condemns such self-righteous criticism and turns the tables on the critic. On the other hand, Jesus does encourage us to bring correction to those who are sinning and in error and in this discussion Jesus encourages us to do so as long as our hearts are right and we are not be hypocritical.
