The Overflow Bros welcome everyone to the podcast’s adult episode. Loto regrets the most anticlimactic experience with turning 18 and PhillVill reminds us that we still take instructions from our parents regardless of age. Following the episode drip Loto unexpectedly pulls the curtain back and eyeballs start sweating when the two talk about Echo Light Media.

The singing outlaw is visibly uncomfortable about promoting his company but Loto is determined to inform the family about the blessing PhillVill is to the show and himself personally, highlighting the products and services Echo Light Media offers. Especially with the approaching holidays.

Then the guys take a look back at the Pastor’s Appreciation month and share favorite moments with the guests. PhillVill unknowingly admits breaking the law at the DMV. The two continues sharing about their week that includes a worship home gathering, trunk or treat in juvenile hall, and little Miss Boo. The podcast duo wraps up their trademark banter with Loto’s national interview on understandably.com.

News Makers and Breakers opens with a discussion about the tragic death of Take-Off from the rap group Migos. Then the pair talk about another rapper who saved lives after taking a wrong turn. We get more elections news on the world stage. PhillVill announces more sequels including A Christmas Story and Avatar. Finally NM&B concludes with Musk never ending drama and a surprising Julia Roberts connection to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s family?

Why Vote?

Overflow makes history again as we cross another first off the list. And doing it with style and high profile as we were graced with the voice of the Best Talk in Town, KXEX 1550 AM. Guillermo Moreno, who also hosts the Guillermo Moreno Show on KXEX Monday through Friday 4-7 pm was kind enough to be our first call in guest and shares his thoughts about the upcoming elections. The phone call begins with a great discussion on politics and pulpits. Loto asks the radio station owner about a cause that is very close to his heart. Guillermo Moreno then addresses the question of the show, “Why Vote?” The highlight of the call comes when Guillermo explains a political reality that hits closer than local politics. The most profound moment comes when he shares his personal experience with coming to a change point of his own politics.

The rest of episode 18 continues with a discussion about 5 excuses or reasons people don’t vote between the two outlaws. Seems none of them are acceptable to the Overflow duo. Lastly, Loto answers the question, “Why vote?” with the reasons he votes.
