Germany closes Nord Stream receiving terminals, beefs up security

Germany closed its two Nord Stream natural gas receiving terminals in Lubmin City and beefed up security in the area. The Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipeline terminals are about one kilometer apart, with an abandoned information center sitting between them. The two terminals have stringent security checks and unauthorized access is strictly forbidden. Swedish authorities said on Thursday that their investigation found evidence of detonations, strengthening suspicions of "gross sabotage" in the recent underwater leaks.
