This is the second of 53 sermons the Lord Jesus Christ revealed in person on December 4, 1871 to his humble servant and scribe Gottfried Mayerhofer who resided in the at that time Austrian seaport of Trieste. Every sermon relates to a specific Gospel verse, explaining in detail the origin and significance of the text for Jesus’ time as well as its relevance for us today. The Sermons are part of the massive ‘New Revelation’ the Lord gave between 1840 and 1894 in the German language to three gentlemen residing in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.
