Ron DeSantis Would Be ‘Formidable’ 2024 Candidate – Jeb Bush

Former Florida Governor and presidential hopeful Jeb Bush praised the current governor, calling Ron DeSantis a "formidable candidate" for the 2024 presidential race.

"He'll be a formidable candidate, if he runs, for lots of reasons," Bush told Fox News. “But the reason why I'm a Ron DeSantis fan is he's governed effectively in the state that I love. He's been a really good governor."

DeSantis rose to conservative stardom during the height of the Covid pandemic, when his lax approach to social restrictions earned him much Democratic scorn. Recently the governor positioned himself as an advocate against ‘woke’ educational tendencies, which also struck a chord with the Republican Party. (RT)
