Tens of thousands of Italians marched through Rome on Saturday calling for peace and urging Italy to stop sending weapons to Ukraine

30000 gathered in Rome yesterday to protest against the new PM Giorgia Meloni’s decision to send more weapons to Ukraine.

Trade unions & former PM Giuseppe Conte were leading the march. Conte said he is “against escalation”.

Meloni won’t back down.
