Beer Bread - Easy to make while camping!

We've tried many different bread recipes, such as bannock, soda bread and others while camping, but nothing even comes close to the simple beer bread for ease of making, taste and texture. You don't even need an oven! Try it and I guarantee you'll love it.

Recipe:
3 cups of sifted flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1⁄4 cup sugar
1 can of beer (regular beer is best. Nothing too hoppy)
1/4 cup melted butter

You can forgo the salt and baking powder if you are using self-rising flour.

Thoroughly mix the dry ingredients and then mix in the beer. Place in bread pan and pour the melted butter over the top. Bake at 375F for one hour.

Add dried fruit or chunks of cheddar cheese for an even more delicious bread!
