Kitten Found in Tree Stump || ViralHog

Occurred on October 22, 2022 / Deer Park, Washington, USA

"I was on a hike with my dogs when I heard a baby kitten crying from the woods. I tied my dogs up at the trail and started to meow calling for the kitten as I walked off trail into the woods. I was able to pin locate where the baby kitten was hiding as it meowed back to me. The kitten was in a tree stump! I could see its furry back in the stump from a hole. When I touched the kitten it moved away deeper into the stump. I started to rip away the flesh of the tree stump in search of the kitten that was still meowing. I had to stick my hand into the dark hole of the stump to remove tree material to find the baby. Soon I found her when she stuck her head out from the back side of the stump. This baby was dumped with her mother and brother all of which, in the following days, I trapped and removed from the woods and placed into homes."
