You might ask why? Well, I've pretty much done them all:
1) I've spent way too much on whiskey before I even had an advanced taste to tell one whisky from another
2) I felt that drinking whiskey is also part of a very lavish lifestyle, which is only restricted to the "cool folks".
3) I definitely felt like chasing so much overhyped and overrated whiskies rather than just finding the ones that I enjoy the most.
4) Lastly, I also acted like a snob and had periods when I would look down upon any of the popular, entry-level whiskeys.
