Biden’s Pledge to Shut Down Coal Plants ‘Twisted’ by Media, Says WH Press Sec

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre once again tried cleaning up the rhetorical mess left by her boss Joe Biden.

In a Monday press briefing, Jean-Pierre claimed Biden’s recent admission that his regime planned on killing the coal industry was “twisted” by the press, claiming it was “loud and hard to hear” him at the time.

“Seemed like there was some confusion on that. I want to say this – some of you were there – it was loud and hard to hear I think – or maybe not – exactly what, uh, what was being said,” Karine stammered.

“The president’s words, we believe, were twisted, and we were very clear about that. Anybody who knows Joe Biden knows he comes from coal country, from Scranton, Pennsylvania,” she added.

White House handlers likewise released an official statement Saturday walking back Biden’s remarks.

Contrary to the White House’s assertion that Biden’s remarks were “twisted,” his Friday comments about his party’s energy-killing agenda are clear and candid.

“We’re going to be shutting these [coal] plants down all across America and having wind and solar power, also providing tax credits to help families buy energy efficient appliances, whether it’s your refrigerator or your coffee maker, for solar panels on your home, weatherize your home, things that save an average, experts say, a minimum of $500 a year for the average family,” Biden said.
