CPDC Webinar to Address Next Steps for Congressional Select Committee on China

On the final day of the 2022 midterm elections, the Committee on the Present Danger: China (CPDC) – inspired by the prospect of a new Congress committed to addressing the existential threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party – will explore the actions that need to be taken a) to understand correctly the magnitude of the danger we face from the CCP and b) to mitigate, and ultimately, defeat it.

In the final pre-election webinar in the two series of such programs (“Unrestricted Warfare” and “USA Betrayed”) the CPDC has mounted over the past few months, the Committee hostс a discussion between four of the nation’s foremost experts on the transnational criminal organization doing business as the CCP, its leadership’s ambitions to destroy the United States and its growing capabilities to do just that. Each offers recommendations about what we must do now with a view to helping inform the deliberations of a select joint Senate-House committee on China that has been promised if the Republicans win majorities today. Even if they do not, such a vehicle for focused attention and course-corrections with respect to the Chinese Communist threat is urgently needed.
