NaNoWriMo Fantasy Novel Workshop: Exploring Heroes, Character Origins, and Mary Sues

"Know Thyself", a Delphic maxim (no not the magazine) which can play into us as humans but is also a great start for understanding the protagonist of your story. Here we look at various characteristics of heroes and how their existence speaks to the conditions of the world around them. As well we explore the Mary Sue concept in an effort to not end up building one.
