WALKING IN BIBLICAL WISDOM
Ephesians 5:15-16 King James Version
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!
There was something about this morning's passage of scripture, as well as what I'm about to share from Romans 14, that I badly needed, because I need to be reminded of the fact that my goal as a Christian, a redeemed follower of Jesus Christ, is that I'm not representing a denomination, a person, or anything else, but representing Christ, and Christ alone. I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional we're extremely challenging to my heart, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that they will challenge you in your walk with the Lord.
How can you determine what will be wise or foolish as you make decisions?
How can you seek God’s guidance?
What I'd like to do right now my friends, is share some thoughts that God is giving me on this matter, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight. It's something that I'll be honest I'm still working on, and I believe that with God's help, that we can cultivate a heart of wisdom within us that will enable us to live our lives in a way that draws us closer to Him. Come join me in this vlog, and learn what it means to walk with wisdom, prudence, but most of all in redemptive freedom! 😊
So, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to challenge you to think about how you live your life for the Lord, and that you’re walking with Him in prudence, wisdom, but most of all as I stated before, redemptive freedom. That you pursue wisdom, discernment, and good decision making through the Lord, as He guide you even with things that are “disputable”. Do not allow yourself to be bound by legalistic thinking, or even worse the unbiblical, false teachings of others, who twist God's word for their own selfish ends. We must remember that we can't achieve the spiritual perfection on our own, or through the influence of others, but only by allowing God to perfect us can we find that true freedom and joy. In short, we need to allow God not man, to mold, shape, and perfect us. That is why I also encourage every believer reading/watching this, to ALWAYS seek God’s Word, when you hear and/or are being taught something that you find questionable. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and use God’s Word to back up what you say!
