Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi says there will be an examination of some of the republican candidates after they have “underperformed” in the mid-term elections.

Ms Panahi said this was "one of the biggest surprises of the mid-terms”, as there were "huge hopes" for Kari Lake to beat the Democratic candidate, Katie Hobbs.
