Our cow feeds our pigs!

How are we getting away from commercial feed? Any way we possibly can. The cost of feed has gone sky high, and is not always available, so we have been researching ways to wean off of it. In the last video, we showed how chickens can be raised on compost. This time, we are talking about the family milk cow and why she is so important.
One thing I forgot to add in the video is Halloween. Why? Because we get all of the leftover pumpkins from friends and neighbors! Those have fed our pigs for two weeks, with many more to go. Don't be too proud to ask for someone else's leftovers!
