In this video we head to the State of Utah! If you’ve never visited Utah, it is absolutely beautiful and we especially love the southern part of the state. There is seriously so much to do and see, it was hard to decide where to start. We ended up visiting Capitol Reef National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, the Escalante area, Zion National Park, Antelope Island State Park, and the Bonneville Salt Flats. We only did 2 days at each park which really was not enough, but we made the best of it :)

One of the things we have learned along the way while learning to be full-time RVers is that staying just 1 night anywhere is not the greatest, especially if you had a long drive that day. RVing is not “hard” per se, but it can be a lot of work to set up the RV at each stop, level it, hook up all the utilities, and oh, don’t forget to make sure you have dinner figured out! If we were to do it over, we would have made the drives on the 1 night stays a lot shorter!

The other lesson learned is that the National Parks do not allow dogs on most all of the trails. We found that each National Park we visited had 1 dog-friendly hike. Apparently, there are places close by to board your dog while you hike, but that's not very fun for the dogs! We ended up finding some hikes that were close to some of the parks that were dog friendly and just as beautiful :)
