I'd rather close your eyes,
For how we should treat each other.
Disinfect hands, wear 'protection',
No more standing next to someone else.

I would like to protect you
Protect from what feels unnatural.
I would like to close your eyes
Until this crisis cooled down.

But no, I can want that
Yet I will never deprive you of your sight.

You can't close your eyes,
You must hold them open, proudly.
So you can see every step
Which is necessary to build a loving world.
