Everhood is an UNCONVENTIONAL ADVENTURE RPG that takes place in an inexpressible world filled with amusing musical battles and strange delightful encounters. To put it simply: You are in for a ride.

Everhood blew me away. From the Earthbound-esque visuals to the hard-hitting soundtrack I was hooked within minutes of booting the game up. One minute you're minding your business walking your character around seeing what mysteries lie ahead and the next minute you're bobbing up and down in your seat and tapping your foot on the floor to this unique and amazing soundtrack which is directly linked in an amalgamation of game genres that only someone who was on Magic mushrooms could have came up with... but seriously, there's even magic mushrooms in this game...

Just when I didn't think this game could surprise me anymore; it caught me off guard with some of the hardest videogame decisions I've had to make; as the plot twisted half way through the game and pulled at my very moral fibers and my emotions. I wont spoil anything here but be prepared to feel wonder, sadness, love, happiness, and an overwhelming sense of thankfulness by the end of the game. This game makes you contemplate and make hard decisions about topics like death and life, immortality, friendship, and even killing in a way you’d never have imagined it could. As if you were really on mushrooms (I'd assume) this game is a visual kaleidoscope of many things creating an experience that you'd never thought possible.
