Should you be worried about food shortages?

With people talking about food shortages due to carbon tax and price gouging in general I wanted to know whether it's real and whether we should be worried.

I reached out to a few fellow homesteaders to see if they had noticed any shortages or price increases in their area and what they had to say was pretty interesting. We should be more focused on what we CAN control and what we can grow. We should be empowering our neighbours to help each other become more self sustaining and developing community to do so!
