EtherWarrior + YAML? Can you Frankenstein these two mod ecosystems together?

Just a quick mission to see if you can in fact get EtherWarrior to work with YAML. The mod page for Ether very specifically says it isn't compatible with Yet Another Mech Lab. Is that strictly true, or does Prelude just not want to deal with lots of potential bug reports? (to be fair, i would just state my mod isn't compatible with everything so that I wouldn't have to deal them.) Let's load em both up and see if we can get them to work.
