Restoration old machete | Restore antique knives | Remove rust Cleaver
I paid a dollar to buy this rusty machete at an old tool shop. I found that it was an antique knife that had not been used for a long time. When I remove rust, you can see that the knife is made of two different types of steel. a hard type for the blade and a softer type for the knife body and spine. Therefore, when the force is strong, the blade is severely deformed. I have restoration the shiny and sharp knife. Heat treatment for the blade section for both hardness and toughness. when contact will not deform. It has returned to be a useful tool.
