Someone Is Watching Over You

We decided to go mellowish today even though it's Friday with a selection from Jesus Christ Superstar that melds into the Alan Parsons Project and that sums up the Segue City Special today. The Mayor is on his way in for the weekend and we'll be watching UGA on their way again to the march to the national championship. They'll be playing in Starkville, Mississippi tomorrow night. We spent a year there one afternoon in Starkville... like Gertrude Stein once said, "There's no there there"...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
