Defending Mitch McConnell

My credentials of being sufficiently anti-Mitch McConnell are not questionable. A few years ago I had all of my radio listeners mail McConnell’s office balls when he wasn’t standing up for conservatives. I supported his primary challenger and begged people to vote for him. I will even concede that McConnell spent money in Alaska attacking a Republican that would have been better spent elsewhere. However, Mitch McConnell is not to blame for the midterm upset. Here’s why.
