Allan 1863 Longprimer Sovereign Desk Edition in Black Highland Goatskin - FIRST EDITION.
Dedicated to the memory of HM Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022.

This striking new edition of the Longprimer Sovereign commemorates the foundation of R.L. Allan in 1863 and is bound in Black Highland Goatskin over rigid boards, with gold embossing, raised spine bands and red/blue/gold speckled page edges.

It is presented in a handmade, cloth-covered Solander clamshell box in navy with red inserts. This distinctive style of protective box is named for Daniel Solander, a Swedish botanist who travelled with Captain Cook on his voyages of discovery to the Antipodes in the late 1700s.
