Why Stacey Abrams' loss is her own fault

Stacey Abrams, who ran for Georgia governor against incumbent Brian Kemp, lost by nearly 300k votes. Why did Stacey lose? Whose fault is it? Are Black men to blame for Stacey Abrams losing her race?

Black men get blamed for a lot and in many cases, rightly so. However, the idea that Black men didn't support Stacey Abrams and that's why she lost is laughable on its face. She had 80+% of the Black vote. How much more did she need? Is she OWED our support?

Abrams ran against incumbent Brian Kemp on a platform of Democrat platitudes, but no real solutions. One of the planks was about black families. Do her support for abortion and post-midterm election comments show that she supports the Black family? Does her response demonstrate that she cares about Black families or rather that she cares about herself? Let's talk about this.

I started Dear Woke Christian as a response to the turmoil of 2020. I saw the error in thinking within the Christian community and I wanted to provoke us to think Biblically about issues. So I started writing letters. My hope is to stir up conversation and critical thinking above emotions. Though emotions are good in context much of what's being pushed is "Act now, think later". That's far removed from a Biblical approach and I wanted to stir my brothers and sisters to ask better questions.
