The more we study the Book of Jeremiah the more convinced I am that that wise old prophet could just as easily have been speaking directly to us today. Join with us this morning Pastor John Day dives into Chapter 18 to make the simple, yet profound point that: “God is God …and we are not.” His sovereignty is a given and how we respond is critical. Like it or not, His blessings and threats are His to dispense – and ours only to receive. Interestingly though …our response to his Word “can” affect His future plans for us. Needless to say, it was another great day to be in The House of The Lord.
