but also one big misconception

This is the account of how quickly and long lasting the people in my country were brainwashed.

Although I am German I have always felt American. I support the US in their crucial task as global superpower and leader of the free world because I understand the global economy in context with industrial development the financial system etc.
I would not want my own country to be in the position of a superpower or even go to a war zone myself. I am thankful somebody else does it.

But this time the US and NATO do not have justice on their side. What Putin explained in his speeches in February 2022 is correct.

But one fact that Putin stressed in his speech on the 24th was wrong. I made it my mission a long time ago to remind people about this certain, pivotal historic fact predating the war in Iraq. And that is the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
...The Halabja attack was part of the Anfal campaign, also known as the Kurdish genocide that killed between 50000 and 182000 Kurds in the late 1980s. In each one of the 8 Anfal campains chemical weapons with mass destruction capability were used by the Iraqi army.
