A Mother Is Glad That Her Child Now Can Safely Study in Russian

A resident of Mariupol told RT how glad she is that her child can now safely study in Russian:

"They didn't let us... They didn't even give us normal A's, because we have to wear embroidered shirts and speak Ukrainian. We all know the Ukrainian language, but not at all the one we were forced to speak."

She noted that she used to do school assignments with her daughter for four hours, because she had to translate a lot. The woman added that it was difficult with work: her husband was fired from the Interior Ministry because their family loves the USSR.
