Cold, alone, homeless with no one to turn to, and completely hopeless "A Child of Thorns" brings new breath on the second chance. Adam is at the end of life with purpose, with no sense of hope or direction his very own flesh and blood want nothing to do with him. Driving his sorrows and pain into drinking, with the single prayer on his mind, "I wish it would just end". But it's at this moment of hitting the so-called rock bottom, death visits him, but instead of coming to take his life, it comes to offer him a second chance...
