BRAVELY USE YOUR VOICE!!!
Esther 4:14 King James Version
14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!! Ricky and I stayed in today because it's COLD! Right now, as I'm typing this, I'm listening to this interview on ABC that was done with Mike Pence, and I'll be honest when I tell you that I have a lot of mixed feelings, but most of all, I'm deeply bothered by it. I'm deeply bothered by it because it's being done by a biased person, but I also see a former vice president who I believe was stuck between a rock and a hard place and did what he thought was right. You can disagree with me if you want, but that's what Ricky and I see.
Something about this passage of scripture I read this morning, not only challenged my heart, but really got me to thinking about using my voice for God. About not being afraid to use my voice, to raise it up and speaking out against injustice, sin, and the evil that is going on in this world today. I was especially challenged by the questions from this morning's devotional, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will challenge you through them as well.
How might God want to use your words to help others?
How does it encourage you to know that He works through us even in our fear and weaknesses?
What I'd like to do right now guys, is share some thoughts that God showed me from His Word concerning not just this passage, but also through the example of Esther, through this blog with all of you tonight, in how when we are willing and obedient to God's calling, God can and will use our voices to make a difference for him. Come join me in this vlog and see just what I mean! 😊
So, as I close this post with all of you tonight, my prayer for all of you tonight, is that you will ask the Lord every day, to show you how you can serve Him with your voice. To ask God to give you boldness, courage, and wisdom in what you say, so that your voice is truly heard. I pray that you will remember and act on the fact that as Jennifer Benson Schuldt stated so very well, “Each of us has a voice that can help others. We may be afraid. We may not feel capable. We may feel we don't have the right words.” However, as Jennifer also states, “God knows how we feel. He can provide the words and all we need to serve others and accomplish his work.” All we need to do, is trust God, step out in faith, and obey!
