Should I use Facebook ads or bandit signs to find wholesale real estate deals?

Good question.

You can do anything to find deals. You can use bandit signs, facebook ads, networking with people, passing out business cards, etc.

The key thing to finding good deals is you must find a deal where there is not anyone else attempting to buy the deal. If you have to compete for a deal with multiple other buyers you are in a bad situation already and the seller is in a great situation.

So, however, you decide to advertise to find deals you need to look at it like a spoke on a wheel where maybe one spoke is Facebook ads, another spoke is bandit signs, another spoke is cold calls, another spoke is newspaper ads, etc.

Don’t get caught up in things and give them more importance than they are worth. Things that worked for a long time in the past like bandit signs will keep working no matter how sophisticated facebook ads get. People notice things that are out of place and a bandit sign will always work to get attention. You need to develop some spokes on your marketing wheel to generate leads and you need to develop your network.

It is always good to network and go to conferences. You tend to meet some good quality people there especially if you are talking about paid conferences. The prices are all over the place.
