John Wick: Chapter 4 (simply known as John Wick 4, or JW4) is an upcoming American neo-noir action thriller film which is serving as the direct sequel to 2019's John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, as well as the fourth installment in the John Wick film series. Directed by Chad Stahelski, with a script co-written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch, and based on characters created by Derek Kolstad, it is produced by Stahelski, Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee. Starring Keanu Reeves returning as the title character, the film is produced by Thunder Road Pictures and 87North Productions.

Distributed by Lionsgate, the film is set to be theatrically released in the United States on March 24, 2023.Originally set for release on May 21, 2021, the film was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and partially due to Reeves' commitments with The Matrix Resurrections
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) takes on his most lethal adversaries yet in the upcoming fourth installment of the series. With the price on his head ever increasing, Wick takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Osaka to Berlin. Lionsgate presents, a Thunder Road Films / 87eleven production.
The cast of John Wick 4 is already brimming with talent, some new, some returning. Keanu Reeves will of course return as Wick, while Laurence Fishburne is back as The Bowery King, Ian McShane returns as Winston, and Lance Reddick reprises his role of Charon, concierge at The Continental hotel. Japanese-British pop star Rina Sawayama will play a new character called Akira, while martial arts movie legends Donnie Yen and Scott Adkins have joined in undisclosed roles. Alita: Battle Angel's Marko Zaror is set to play John Wick 4's primary villain, while Mortal Kombat 2021's Hiroyuki Sanada, Wynonna Earp's Shamier Anderson, IT's Bill Skarsgard, and prolific character actor Clancy Brown are also playing unknown roles.
