REVELATION 22:18-19 Has God Stopped Speaking? | Daniel's Bible Snippets

The closing passage of the Bible strongly warns against adding to or taking away from the prophecy of this book – meaning the book of Revelation – NOT the Bible.

Unfortunately, many teach that any new prophecy since John was on the Isle of Patmos is adding to the scriptures, which is clearly not what the passage means nor was intended to mean.

THE TWO PROPHETS of Rev11:3-13 will be prophesying throughout the 1,260 days of great tribulation – so they will be speaking new scripture.
AND ACTS 2:17-18 teaches us that in the last days God is going to pour out of His Spirit upon all flesh, and your son and your daughters shall prophesy! Therefore, we should not despise prophesying. (1Thess5:20 KJV) Rather, we should learn how to embrace this treasured gift and ask the Lord for wisdom in how to handle the responsibility that goes along with this gift, and also ask how to discern when something is of the Lord, and when something is not of the Lord – for the testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy. (Rev19:10 KJV)

NEWLY RECEIVED PROPHECY will not contradict the Bible! The Bible teaches us that through the spirit of wisdom and revelation, we can gain fresh insight into matters written long ago, but only to be understood in this last generation, during the time of the end. (Eph1:17 Dan12:4 KJV)
