How can one sentence and one minute of your life completely upend the trajectory of your “normal” under the radar life? Speaking out, regardless of whether or not you believe in free speech, can have instant life altering consequences. Meet the now infamous gentleman who wished President Joe Biden, “Merry Christmas and let’s go Brandon” on Christmas Eve 2021.

Jared Schmeck thought he was calling the NORAD Santa tracking line with his kids to get an update on Santa’s whereabouts. He was surprised to find out he was on live TV with a direct line to the President and First Lady. And then…the rest is as they say is history.

We discuss what it means to stand up for what you believe in, not becoming intimidated by those who oppose you, and what faith means and looks like in our daily actions.

Since last week was election week , this episode is kind of fitting but oh yeah…. turn the corner and we’re still counting! Good grief.
