5 Kayak Sailors had perfect October conditions for an amazing day of kayak sailing at the East End of Lake Erie. Everybody had 1.0 square meter Falcon Sails with Carbon Fiber Masts and Booms.

We reached across the wind from South Bass Island State Park to Manila Bay on North Bass Island and then reached across the wind back to South Bass Island. Our round trip was about 14 miles and we barely had to paddle.

It was amazing. The sky was beautiful.

This was an exciting kayak sail outing. You can have fun with a lot less wind as well.
