Emancipation ganha novo trailer

Baseado em uma história real Emancipation narra a história de Peter(Will Smith), um escravizado que foge de uma fazenda de algodão do sul dos Estados Unidos para se unir ao exército que lutou contra o fim da escravidão durante a Guerra Civil.

Peter se tornou símbolo da luta abolicionista quando uma foto de suas costas nuas, marcada com cicatrizes deixadas por um chicote foi publicada pelo Independent, em 1863.

O longa mostrará a fuga do homem e como ele sobreviveu aos caçadores que tentavam levá-lo de volta à fazenda escravocrata.

Longa de Antoine Fuqua como diretor chega nos cinemas no dia 2 de dezembro, na semana seguinte no dia 9 chega na plataforma da Apple TV+.

Emancipation gets new trailer

Based on a true story Emancipation tells the story of Peter (Will Smith), an enslaved man who flees a cotton farm in the southern United States to join the army that fought against the end of slavery during the Civil War.

Peter became a symbol of the abolitionist struggle when a photo of his bare back, marked with scars left by a whip, was published by the Independent in 1863.

The film will show the man's escape and how he survived the hunters who tried to take him back to the slave farm.

Feature by Antoine Fuqua as director arrives in theaters on December 2nd, the following week on the 9th it arrives on the Apple TV+ platform.
