With more evidence of dark deceptions at hand, Charles Smoot made his way back into the city. But the ominous tolling of bells signaled the beginning of something sinister. A treacherous act against Raelund's king stirred its citizens into a frenzy and Charles found himself desperate to locate his comrades. Though he is soon met with a familiar face. Amali has found them. Using Amali's fiery anger as a distraction for the Red Guard, Charles quickly fled the city with his remaining party.
