Andrew Mercado is an American independent media reporter. From humble beginnings he started life out with adoption and later found himself looking for direction, leading him to join the United States Army. Post-military service Andrew found himself in a situation Veterans know only too well! He spiralled into a vicious cycle of drug addiction which eventually saw him into rehab. Finding structure again came with many positives eventually leading to him creating Mercado Media, Where he reported on specific events across the USA. Currently, Andrew is reporting on the Ukraine crisis and other current affairs. I had a fantastic time speaking to Andrew and I know I have made a friend for life during the process.
