The Faulty Theology of Bethel Church Redding CA I The Teaching of Bill Johnson Part 1

So with Bethel Church NYC opening up this week many people have their eyes on the main campus of bethel church redding ca. Bethel is most famous for Bethel Worship Music.

I heard a clip this week from a Bill Johnson Sermon 2022 and had to push back a bit. He seemed to be emphasizing kingdom now over the return of Jesus. He is right that we want to display full kingdom now. But it should be noted that full victory will only come at the return of Jesus. So if you go to bethel church redding california you are going to want to see this video.

The return of Jesus is VERY import for three reasons:
ONE....We will get new bodies that are free of sin and sickness which will be pure and incorruptible. Till then we will be sinful people who can get sick
TWO... The Devil will be BOUND and thrown into the lake of fire. Until then then he will be able to lie, kill, steal and destroy. He will have pain because of this
THREE...No more death, crying and pain. Life will have pain until we have new bodies and satan has been bound permanently

This is a hint toward Bethel Churches eschatological views which i believe are faulty. I will get into that in the longer version of this video to be released soon.

I hope this doesn't come off as an attack on Bill Johnson or Bethel Church. I just wanted to push back on one of his sermon clips. They have good music. They do many good things. I am just challenging on of his ideas that are pointed to what i feel is bad theology. I feel pastor without training should stay out of this lane. YouTube of full of people creating theology with no training of going into the scriptures deeper.
