DAISY THON - The Awareness of MSA - Part 2 - 11.19.22

On November 19, 2022, Stories That Inspire Us had the amazing opportunity to host the Daisy Thon - The Awareness of MSA (Multi-System Atrophy.) MSA is a very rare terminal illness which affects (4) out of 100k people each year. The Daisy Thon is being uploaded in (3) different sections. This is Part 2.

The Daisy Thon was held in honor of the many people who suffer from this debilitating terminal illness and with the hope to raise awareness and money for research. Their courage and resilience to not accept the status quo, to pray for the power to persevere, and to know and LIVE life!! MSA certainly does not affect their intellect!! (As a side note, Janis never knew about MSA until she met Daisy Paige. Daisy was a podcast guest on “Stories” on July 30, 2022.)

This Daisy Thon was attended by Daisy Paige, Author of the book: Unexpected Moments (with the foreword written by Kirk Cameron); Philip Fortier, MA, Defeat MSA Alliance; Chris Kozikas, MSA Patient; Tanya Schiefer, Author and MSA patient; Eugene Paige (Daisy's husband); and hosted by Janis Melillo, Podcast Host of Stories That Inspire Us.
