Trump unblocked on Twitter, Jones still blocked, more possible layoffs to save Twitter

After a vote over the weekend, former president Donald Trump has been reinstated on Twitter. However, he is unlikely to rejoin Twitter considering he has his own Truth Social platform. Other accounts that have been reinstated are Jordan Peterson, comedian Kathy Griffin, satirical website The Babylon Bee, and Kanye "Ye" West. Although, fringe conspiracy theorist Alex Jones is still blocked.

In the meantime, Twitter may still be facing layoffs so that Elon can downsize the company enough so that it starts making a profit again. On top of that, Elon has announced that he's not interested in staying Twitter CEO long-term. He probably wants to stay on long enough to get Twitter making a profit again before hiring someone else to be a CEO for him so that he can get back to Tesla, Starlink, and SpaceX.
