Trump Investigation is a conflict of interest...well I have news for you

Attorney General Merrick Garland said investigating Trump would be a conflict of interest as his boss, President Joe Biden would be running against Trump, so he appointed a very biased special prosecutor. But if investigating Trump would be a conflict, wouldn't the DOJ investigating the President's son Hunter Biden be a conflict?
