MIlitary Affairs Why credentials are not always a prerequisite for an analysis

This prerequisite to have a Degree in Military affairs is an absurdity. What is more important is that the narrative or analysis is logical and makes sense, not whether you have specific qualification or not.
Are Pro Western analysts correct because they have the necessary degree?
Definitely not!
So what is the issue and obsessiveness with qualifications?
